Frequently Asked Questions
What do I do if I have purchased my tickets off an unauthorised seller?
Unfortunately when this occurs the Box Office is unable to help you with refund etc as these ticket were purchased under a different name and as such we do not hold any record of your purchase or account. The Box Office staff can sell you a new seat (if available) however you will need to go back to the agent who sold you the original ticket to secure a refund. We always recommend that any fraudulent purchases be reported to QLD Fair Trade to ensure that we can stamp out this problem.
Will it help if I shout at the Box Office Staff?
In short NO it won’t, while we will always try to assist as best we can the TECC will not tolerate any abuse or bad behaviour directed at staff members. We are happy to assist with any records that we have from the unauthorised seller if tickets have been cancelled especially in cases of credit card fraud, however it should be noted that most information given by fraudulent purchasers are rarely correct.
