Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.

"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

Shrek presents a treasure trove of creative opportunities, including costumes, sets, puppets (there is a fire-breathing dragon after all) and more! Irreverently fun for the whole family, Shrek proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre.

On the week of the release of his triple j album of the week, Rainbow Valley, MATT CORBY announces his first headline tour in two years for March and April 2019.

For a decade, the multi-platinum-selling musician has been pushing his own boundaries, embracing a journey of self-discovery that’s seen him wrestle a few pre-conceptions and stare down his share of demons. With two ARIA Song of the Year awards and a #1 debut album behind him, Corby can genuinely lay claim to some hard-earned perspective.

Now we see a new chapter in Corby’s life with the release of his much anticipated second album. Recorded in the idyllic surroundings of Byron Bay’s Music Farm studios, Rainbow Valley will be released this Friday November 2.

Lush, multi-textured and sparked by hints of both old soul and futuristic psychedelia, Rainbow Valley is, in Corby’s words “joyous music”, but it also has the depth and perspective of an artist who understands you can’t just take the good times for granted, you have to earn them.  The sparkling first single No Ordinary Life, and the bare-bones ballad All Fired Upand current single All That I Seehave received widespread acclaim and give fans a taste of what to expect on Corby’s stunning new album.

Multi award-winning South African-New Zealander URZILA CARLSON has become a household name in Australia in the past year, and she returns from across the ditch in 2019 with a national stand up tour.

“Loser is almost always negative,” Urzila says. ”I’ve lost my keys, a relative, my mind, money, dignity… it’s only positive when you lose some weight. WHY? If you meet someone awesome would you not want there to be more of them? Why can your friends not see your fatness but your family and doctor can see nothing but your fatness? Why is losing so hard? The truth is, we’re all losers in some form and at some point we’ll hit our rock bottom. Are you prepared? Get ready losers, let’s tackle our failures. What’s the worst that can happen?”

Urzila is now a series regular on Network Ten’s smash-hit panel show,Have You Been Paying Attention?!. Born in South Africa, she now calls New Zealand home where she is a household name and a cast member of popular NZ comedy panel show 7 Days. Selling out is a regular occurrence for Carlson in both Australia and New Zealand. In 2018, she sold out her entire MICF season including extra shows in record time becoming one of the biggest sellers of the Festival.

Love is in the Air – and we want to share it with you all!

We all adore songs about love. From “All You Need Is love” to “Money Can’t Buy Me Love”, “How Deep Is Your Love" to "The Look Of Love”, and that enduring classic "The Book Of Love”. These songs and many more celebrate one of the greatest feelings in the world, the glory of love, which is all around us each and every day. They’re the best reminder that love is free but can make you feel like the richest person in the world, if you open your heart.

In 2019, The TEN Tenors are embracing love and will be singing some of the most popular feel-good love songs and wedding first dance songs of all time. They’ll cover many of your favourite romantic tunes, from pop songs with a twist to classic love songs, and even a few of the most famous and touching love arias in existence. For anyone with a soft spot for a tender tune, this is an experience not to be missed.

Love Is In The Air, touring nationally in May and June 2019, is the sort of concert guaranteed to fill you with passion and put a huge smile on your face.

Also available by advance order (and at a very sweet price) is the CD of the same name, Love Is In The Air.

Jesus Christ SUPERSTAR!

The show that shot Andrew Lloyd Webber to stardom is coming to Townsville 16th – 20th July 2019.

In true stadium style, just as Andrew Lloyd Webber intended it to be, this will be a sound and lighting spectacular.  Showing at the Townsville Entertainment Centre.

This show has stood the test of time so don’t miss it.

Jesus Christ Superstar is back bigger and better than ever.

It seems especially fitting that the first rock opera, created as a concept album at the end of the turbulent '60s, should have at its centre a social and political rebel. Jesus' meteor-like rise in renown provides, as the title suggests, a parallel to contemporary celebrity worship. As his radical teachings are evermore embraced, Judas increasingly questions the enlightened motives of this new prophet, resulting in betrayal. Christ's final days are dramatized with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatricality. Propelled by a stirring score, by turns driving and majestic, satirical and tender, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR illuminates the transcendent power of the human spirit with a passion that goes straight to the heart.
