The Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre employs approximately 10 full time and 60 casual staff at any one time.

The nature of sporting events and the convention and exhibition industry is seasonal, ranging from peak periods of high activity to quieter periods of minimal activity.

We regularly employ casual staff in the following categories (in reducing order of frequency):

  • Food and Beverage Attendants are employed on a seasonal basis from September to April each year
  • Ushers and Ticket Collectors
  • Kitchen Staff
  • Cleaners
  • Audio Visual Technicians
  • Box Office Staff
